Basing House

This project at Cambridge involved the upgrade of existing student accommodation, with a focus on improving thermal performance and long-term durability. The aim was to enhance comfort for occupants while bringing the building up to a higher energy standard.

The central location presented logistical challenges, including restricted access and a busy surrounding environment, requiring careful planning and coordination throughout the works.

We carried out the installation of new high-performance windows, manufactured by our sister company Precision Carpentry & Joinery, alongside external insulation and a full rendering system. Each element was selected to improve efficiency while ensuring a robust, long-lasting finish.

The completed project delivers a more energy-efficient building with improved internal comfort, designed to perform reliably over the long term.
